The 720p HD video board is located along the backstretch between turns 2and 3, across from the start/finish line. The 332-and-a-half ton structurecontains 158 panels and 900 million LED lamps made by Retop. To ensure the outstanding consistency of the 900 million LED lamps, Retop carefullyselected each lamp based on a very narrow bin with a flatness tolerance ofthe display surface within 1mm.
This display surpassed the previous world record holder at the CowboysStadium in Dallas, Texas, USA which measures 160 feet (48.76m) wide by 72feet (21.94m) tall. Charlotte sets the standard for motor tracks around theworld.
